RT

RT Series inks are mainly the metallic inks used in flexographic/rotogravure applications for printing onto metalized OPP, PVC film and suitable for treated transparent substrates. RT inks give adhesion and scuff resistance to the standards normally required for this type of working together with good brilliance and printability.

RT series inks should not be mixed with inks of any other supplier as this may be detrimental to the adhesive properties. Colors have a reasonable degree of light fastness.

Adhesives

Packaging adhesives are widely used for food, beverages and commodity packaging. DIC Pakistan offers both solvent based and solvent free polyester type and polyether type adhesives.

Solvent Based Adhesive

Solvent-based adhesives are a type of adhesive that uses solvents as the primary component to create a strong bond. They are typically composed of a polymer or resin dissolved in a solvent, which evaporates to leave behind a strong adhesive bond. Solvent based adhesives are commonly used in packaging due to their strong adhesion and quick drying times. Solvent-based adhesives are known for their strong bonds and durability, especially in harsh environmental conditions.

Solvent Free Adhesive

Solvent-free adhesives are a type of adhesive that contains very little or no harmful solvents. Solventless adhesives are high-viscosity, non-liquid products. Through their high viscosity, they are capable of holding two surfaces together. They offer advantages like lower flammability, reduced odors, and are generally more environmentally friendly than traditional solvent-based adhesives. Solvent-free adhesives are also often used in applications where safety and environmental impact are critical.
