Halal Survelliance Audit- KHI
Sanha Hala Associates Pakistan conducted a halal audit which ensured that the products and process comply with halal requirements.
Green Office Audit
This was conducted through WWF which helped us certify the company & sustainability practices are & identify opportunities for improvement.
EMS Audit Khi
EMS audit was conducted by SGS at both KHI & LHE sites to ensure that our EMS is still effective, being implemented and that we still meet the requirements of the standard and identified areas for potential savings.
Conductivity Audit
A rigorous conductivity audit was conducted of the IBC’S and the pipes to ensure that hat static charge does not accumulate for added safety of people, process and plant.
IMS Recertification Audit
DIC Pakistan Limited has successfully completed IMS recertification audit at both Lahore and Karachi plants. Verification was done against standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 01:2015 & ISO 45001:2018.
EHS and Sustainability
Awareness campaigns on child labor & world population day
DIC conducted an awareness campaign to promote sustainable population growth aswell as shed light on pertinent topics such as child labor.
Weekly Safety Meetings
During Q1 of the year 2024, 8 weekly EHS meetings were conducted at DIC with each departmental head participating in it to monitor health and safety issues.
Spillage Awareness Campaign
The main theme of the campaign was to raise awareness among shop floor staff to take proactive measures in preventing spillages.
Hand Safety Campaign
A hand safety campaign was conducted in office to raise awareness about preventing hand related injuries and promoting safe practices while handling tools.
1 Million Safe Man Hours
DIC Pakistan Limited has achieved a phenomenal milestone of 1 million safe man hours at the IRIS site.
EHS E learning Safety Hub
DIC Asia Pacific launched e-trainings module named as “SAFETY HUB” to provide all employees of DIC with safety trainings including Understanding Hazards and Risks, unsafe acts and behavioural safety which were covered in 1st quarter.
LTA & Fire Free Days
DIC Pakistan Limited has achieved a milestone of 2000+ LTA and 1000 + Fire Free days in its operations as of 2024.
Trainings
Training on SOP's
A meeting was arranged in alignment with the production team and safety SOP’s training was given.
Spill Drills
Spill drills were conducted at both Lahore and Karachi plants to train the employees on procedures and steps that should be taken in case of any spillage.
Mock Drill
Regular mock drills were conducted to ensure that employees can be trained for any unlikely fire incident and emergency.
Behavior Based Safety Program Launch
OSALP International facilitated the kick-off session of our core operations team including the floor teams of production and maintenance who actively participated.
IMS training LHR
A three day IMS training was conducted in which the participants were trained according to the standards of ISO 9001 ,ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Fire Fighting & BLS Training
Participants learnt how to give basic life support (BLS), emergency response plan, how to effectively communicate during any emergency situation and use of fire fighting equipment.
BLS ERP training KHI
BLS and ERP training was conducted for new joiners so that they can be taught about the guidelines and procedures that are to be followed in an event of emergency.
